Thank you for your input. Yes, the Tahe Marine seat gives me dead legs. The problem is enhanced on relaxed tours. As the tested gel seat did not do the trick something new must be done! And a new total new seat in the kayak is on the list. I like your link to an old garden chair. Maybe I should try that solution? Good find.

I have the same problem: my legs fall asleep.
I tried to lower the seat: cut away some of the base in the front and tilt it but was not enough.
Eventually I replaced the Tahe seat with one I made myself using the mould from a seat in a kayak I really like.
